| As someone I actually have a lot of respect for now days, I can tell you that we have no intention of copying the 300Degree fuel rails. Although we could have the same product produced to the same quality standards for 1/4 or less the price in large volumes, I'll state right now for the record that as long as we are a 300Degree distributor, we will be buying all our Z32 fuel rails from 300Degree. I made a complaint about a lead time online a few weeks ago because I had customers waiting and that upsets me to a point that no one here could even comprehend. No one here had informed me about the reasons for the excess lead time and I should have asked before posting. There was a good reason and 300Degree has always been a top notch supplier for us with excellent communication. However, when there are not good reasons involved for excessive lead times on products our customers need and our suppliers continuously lie to us about when we will receive our orders, I'll do whatever it takes to get customers the products they need. I simply will not accept repeated complacency from our suppliers or just totally getting screwed around for that matter. We expect our suppliers to try at least half as hard as we do, as the promises they make us reflect directly on us. If a large corporation is dependent on a supplier and that supplier drops the ball over and over we all know what happens, they find someone else to supply the need. If you bring a product to market and agree to sell through a large distributor you better be able to meet demand, show that you are at least trying, or for that matter just be capable of communicating and not hiding for weeks in the event of problems and broken promises. You also need to have a phone of some type (it is 2008) or maybe just an e-mail address that you actually answer more than once a month. At Z1 customers come #1 and suppliers #2. This philosophy has meant that we've stepped on a lot of toes and we don't often fit into the "good ol boys" establishment here. We aren't that worried about stirring the pot if we feel it needs to be stirred. The last two paragraphs of this seemingly senseless rant are directed at a particular one of our suppliers that is at the center of this controversy. We are still sticking with them for now but it's not easy for us. It's been fun tonight guys, but I'm slammed with work here and have a large event to plan. Hope to see you all out at the Z Nationals in a few weeks. We are giving a lot of free stuff away! Along with about $10k of other products attendies will have a really good shot at winning, Mike Smith is even sending us a free pair of manifolds to give away.
